Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026. What Homz stores on your device, why, and how you control it.
1. What are cookies?
- Small text files your browser saves when you visit a site, so it can remember you while you browse. We also use the browser's "local storage", which is similar but is never sent to our servers.
2. What Homz uses
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Essential | Browsing session: sign-in, language, currency and booking steps. | Until you close the browser |
| homz-theme | Preference (local storage) | Remembers dark or light mode. | Until you clear it |
| hz_recent | Preference (local storage) | Your last 5 flight searches, on your device only. | Until you clear it |
3. Partner cookies
- Flight search: flight results are shown by our partner's tool inside Homz pages and may save language and currency settings on your device.
- Map and comparison: the hotel map is provided by an outside partner and may set cookies to work.
- Payment: the secure payment form runs through our partner's gateway, which may use cookies to prevent fraud and secure the payment.
- Referrals: when you continue to a partner site (flights, cars, experiences) that site may set cookies to track the referral, under its own policy.
4. What we do not use
- We do not use advertising cookies to follow you across sites, and we do not sell your data.
5. How to control them
- You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time.
- Blocking the session cookie will stop sign-in and booking from working properly.
- To clear only your recent searches, clear the site data for homz.travel in your browser settings.
